Get the carnitas. We put a little crisp on the tortillas and on the meat, and a spoonful of avocado salsa goes on top.

Simply amazing!! The service was fantastic and extremely friendly, too. Out door seating was available, which was perfect since it was a Georgia’s day! I ordered the torta de asada and beef taquitos and... well I almost ate the plates, too. Both were so amazingly tasty. The beans in the torta were perfection and the guacamole on the taquitos was extremely good. Reasonably priced and the perfect meal after a10 hour plane ride! I highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to be back!!

First off, they have good tortillas, which is kind of rare to find. The carnitas to me are the star of the show, crisp and well seasoned with the avocado-based salsa really setting everything off. The tripas are another fave. Agua de Tamarindo also hits a nice balance of tart and not-too-sweet. Reliably delicious, and perfect for having a taco picnic. A Portland gem.

Fantastic tacos, some of the best available close in in Portland. They actually take the time to put a little crisp on the tortillas, and on the carnitas! They also give you a little avocado salsa on the carnitas, a really nice touch you don’t see everywhere. My go to. It hits!

I came in and it was really crowded. Everyone was kind and accommodating. I got the carnitas nachos. The amount of meat we got was incredible. Chips laid perfectly beneath. Onions, tomatoes, refried beans, cheese and choice of sauces. Green and red were both delicious. We ate them so fast I forgot to take a picture. Will be returning! I’m a fan.

Santo Domingo is a small eatery that serves excellent Mexican food including some of the best carnitas I've had at this writing. Their tacos are loaded with savory meat with a bit of tomato, onion, cilantro and guacamole. The texture and flavor of the carnitas in on point. The burritos are large for those with hungry appetites. Santo Domingo has indoor and outdoor seating. There's three parking spots in the tiny lot in front. Otherwise there's street parking.
