Born in 1966, in a small rural town in Oaxaca, Mexico, Abraham is the youngest in his large family of 10.  As a young child he spent most of his time working with his father in the fields; plowing, planting, and harvesting crops. At the age of 17 he decided to come to the U.S. in search for a better future.

Gloria was born in the same small rural town as Abraham in Oaxaca, Mexico, in 1969. Being the eldest in her family, and living under a single parent household, she took on various responsibilities around the house and taking care of her younger siblings. This propelled her to come to America to support her family back home.

They met in 1989, and have been together ever since.

Abraham began working in the fields as soon as he arrived in the states, from there he spent many years working in factories, agriculture, and construction. Gloria spent many years working in housekeeping and other factory jobs. In 2006, they took a leap of faith, deciding to take on the business industry, and opened Santo Domingo.

Fast forward ten years later and they have achieved their "American Dream"; three wonderful kids and a successful family-run business.
